“STEM is at the very heart of our business and our purpose to deliver brilliant buildings, transform lives, strengthen communities and enhance the environment so our world is fit for future generations.”
The other themed zones, including the Science and Technology Zone, Teeside University Zone, and Your Future Zone, further enhances the diversity of learning experiences for the attendees. By exposing young students to real-world applications and experiences, these events contribute significantly to building interest and enthusiasm for these fields.
Claire Willis, Team Leader at the North East STEM Hub, comments:
“STEMFest plays a crucial role in inspiring young minds and fostering an interest in STEM subjects. These type of events are vital in nurturing the upcoming cohort of innovators, it's great to see Willmott Dixon supporting this initiative.
Without ongoing support from businesses including Willmott Dixon and our headline sponsor this year, Cummins, events like this simply couldn’t take place.”
