Taz Tackles Snowdon for Three Peaks Training
26th May 2023
It’s less than one month away and we feel like giving some appreciation for the efforts the walkers are putting into their training for the difficult challenge that lies ahead.
The National Three Peaks involves covering 23 miles of walking distance and 3064 metres of ascent in total - all within 24-hours including driving from Scotland down to England and then Wales. There is no doubt this is going to be a tough and serious challenge that requires a high level of fitness and determination.
RTC caught up with Taz to find out how she is feeling about the challenge next month.
“I'm taking on this challenge to really test my fitness and push myself to the absolute limit. It is also a great opportunity to support an amazing charity who does excellent work to support anyone affected by cancer across the UK. There is no getting away from the fact that it is going to be challenging, but completing it will be a massive achievement!
“This is a great opportunity to connect and get to know other colleagues I don't usually interact with on a daily basis. I'm looking forward to the challenge and we will all be there to provide motivation and support for each other along the way!"
Keep up with the training and well done on your efforts so far, Taz!
Thank you to everyone that has supported us so far! Please keep sharing to help us reach and smash our target!
