RTC raises £10,000 for Maggie’s Centres
12th Dec 2023
RTC North and its dedicated staff were on a mission to make a significant impact on the lives of those affected by cancer. Together they have raised over £10,000 for Maggie's Centres who provide invaluable support to individuals and their families facing the challenges of cancer.
Earlier this year, the RTC North team, along with CEO, Jamie Ollivere, successfully completed the gruelling National Three Peaks Challenge – conquering Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Mount Snowdon in under 24 hours.
RTC North did not stop there. In September, the team geared up for the Great North Run, a half marathon that promised to be a test of both physical endurance and determination. Their goal was to raise crucial funds for Maggie's Centres and get one step closer to their fundraising target.
But they couldn't have come this far without your amazing support. We wanted to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed, your generosity was the driving force behind our success.
Jamie Ollivere commented: “I am immensely proud of the RTC North team and our dedicated supporters for achieving the remarkable feat of raising £10,000 in our fundraising efforts for Maggie's Centres. This significant milestone reflects not only the collective determination and commitment of our team but also the generosity and support of our community. Together, we are making a tangible difference in the lives of those affected by cancer.
“This accomplishment is a testament to the power of collaboration and compassion, and it inspires us to continue our mission of contributing to meaningful causes. Thank you to everyone who played a part in reaching this milestone – your contributions have a lasting impact on the invaluable work carried out by Maggie's Centres."
Every donation, no matter the size, brought us closer to making a difference in the lives of those who relied on Maggie's Centres.
