By attending STEMFest, hopefully we can inspire some of them to pursue a career in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).”

Dawn Ross, STEM Hub’s Liaison Coordinator comments:

“We were delighted, in collaboration with Redcar and Cleveland College, to deliver an amazing STEMFest event. This highly successful programme provided Tees Valley students with the opportunity to engage in hands-on, impactful activities that opened the world of opportunities on their doorstep. I would like to thank our fantastic regional employers and STEM Ambassadors for their continuous support.”

STEMFest events are a stimulating opportunity to spark enthusiasm from young people, encouraging them to investigate STEM subjects whilst introducing them to different career paths. Investing in providing opportunities for the next generation will enable them to lead innovation whilst continuing to develop and grow the world in which we operate. There are lots of new upcoming opportunities on the horizon in the Tees Valley area, showcasing to young people how interesting Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics can be, the more our young people of the future are able to make great career choices.
