Simpson Group Supports STEMFest to Bring Exhibition Space to Life

02nd Jun 2023

Simpson Group are showing their support to STEMFest, providing stand out vinyl banners to bring the exhibition space to life for the 3,000 pupils across the north expected to attend.

STEMFest is coordinated by the North East STEM Hub, delivered by RTC North.

The event will take place at the VERTU Motor Arena in Newcastle over 3 days on the 4th, 5th, and 6th July. STEMFest aims to encourage and inspire young people from North East schools in the STEM subjects.

Again, like last year, Innotech Digital will be supplying the banner materials and Simpson Group are printing vinyl banners free of charge to be displayed around the arena. As this year’s event is on an even bigger scale than previous events, Simpson Group are printing more banners to enhance the exhibition space.

STEMFest 2023 is based around four industry themed zones including Space, Technology (Cyber Security), Environment and Energy, and Manufacturing. Simpson Group will be printing banners to separate out the 4 zones as well as printing 4 large overhead banners which will hang from the ceilings of the impressive VERTU arena to indicate the start of each zone.

Simpson Group provides award-winning print marketing campaigns and are consistently investing in pioneering technology and client-benefiting services. With an average service length of 15 years, their team is well equipped to advise on a vast range of printing methods for innovative and stand-out displays that produce impressive results. Through dedicated CAD and Client Service teams, they take on board client’s requirements, budget, pains, and gains before presenting a well thought through solution.

Sarah Tishler, Development Director at Simpson Group comments: “We love to be able to get involved in these opportunities, where we have the chance to engage with todays’ students, who are ultimately the world’s future talent. Igniting a small spark in their young imaginations could fuel the development of life changing innovations, in the years to come as we drive for NetZero.”

Claire Willis, North East STEM Hubs Team Leader comments:

“I want to thank Simpson Group and Innotech Digital for supporting us again this year, its businesses like these that allow us to deliver these events and allow them to grow each year.

We are also proud to be supported by a company that are environmentally conscious, Simpson Group are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council and PEFC. The UK has a target to be Net Zero by 2050, this is why at STEMFest there is a dedicated Environment and Energy zone. In this zone organisations will deliver hands-on activities focussing on climate change and the path to Net Zero. Having support from companies like Simpson Group who care about the environment and recycling is important for showcasing Net Zero efforts in the North East region.”
