Design Means Business as Usual

Design Means Business as Usual

Design Network North – part of Supply Chain North East - is on a mission to continue to inspire, encourage collaboration and facilitate learning amongst North East SMEs, despite this uncertain time for businesses.

20 talks have been made available from some of the world’s biggest and best design-led companies, sharing the value and benefits of design to businesses and the wider community.

Terry McStea, Network Manager at Design Network North, explains:

“We are living through strange times at the moment, but if we as a design network can't respond to a global crisis, then who can? Which is why we have worked hard to bring businesses in the North East some great talks from inspiring speakers to help them through these uncertain weeks ahead.”

The talks feature senior designers from companies including Nokia, Microsoft, Philips, Aston Martin, Hasbro, Mars and many more. All the speeches were first delivered at the Design Means Business conference, which has been held in Gateshead since 2011.

The Design Means Business as Usual talks are delivered by Design Network North, which is part of Supply Chain North East.
