The North East Women in STEM (NEWS) networking event is back with a bang in physical form after a two year hiatus, and with six weeks still to go has released extra tickets due to demand.

The long awaited return of the networking event takes place on the 27th April at The Common Room in Newcastle and welcomes as their guest speaker, Liz Hayes, Chief Executive. Claire Willis, STEM Business Development Manager for the North East STEM Hub and Chair of the group said:

“The networking group started during lockdown and has grown significantly since then, meeting every three months. It’s a chance for North East women working in this sector to meet, inspire, support and really collaborate with each other on exciting projects happening in our region.

“I am thrilled with the interest and have issued a further few tickets, but they won’t last long!”
