Who is it for?

Business leaders who are looking for inspiration in how they build sustainable business growth through a loyal following of customers and a highly motivated and productive workforce.

What is it?

The North East has continued an amazing transformation over the last thirty years, and this continues at pace. However, we still lag other regions for productivity and GVA, although there has been much progress.

While some fundamental factors play a part, such as infrastructure and access to a skilled workforce, there is lots of evidence to suggest strategy and culture play a major factor in high performing organisations.

This programme explores three key themes that are critical to business performance and growth;

Creating a vision for your business with purpose

Driving performance through engaged and motivated people

Creating the right environment through strong leadership and empowered cultures

We also look at how you glue these three pillars together using pragmatic and focused strategies, the democratisation of data, investment in the right working environment and the adoption of the relevant digital technologies.

The taster session will describe a model for business performance and focus in on how you can build a vision with purpose, that not only creates a unique position in your market, but attracts the right talent who are motivated by what you do.

Note: This 1hr introduction session is intended to be a taster for a 12hr more in depth Workshop, for eligible SME companies who located in the NE LEP area.

Benefits to Attending

An understanding of how to build a compelling company vision and market position. The session will be interactive, with the attendees completing a workbook of simple activities, which they can take back into their business for further discussion.
