RTC North helps Kalma Baby grow nationally
Kalma Baby was established in 2014 by Rebecca Klein, running mother and baby yoga classes across the North East. Rebecca contacted RTC North a year later in 2015 when she was seeking guidance and direction about growing her digital presence and the marketing of Kalma Baby online.
RTC’s business professionals and innovation specialists worked with Rebecca to decide on best route to develop the business. As a result, Rebecca decided to apply a franchising model to the business which worked better than employing full time staff.
Rebecca said: “After launching a franchise model in 2016 I needed support with our website to help it maintain its service for franchisees and customers. We wanted to expand nationally and RTC helped me make this possible.
“Their team helped me grow my website functionality to be able to support my franchisees and give me a greater presence within my competition community. They helped devise a marketing strategy so that Kalma Baby could look at expansion outside of the areas it operated.”
Following working with RTC, Rebecca has managed to build up the network of franchisees from five to 15 across the North East. She is currently working on the launch of a pre-natal franchise which will be launched soon.
“The support and advice RTC provided me with is invaluable and I would recommend their services to anyone looking to grow their business but need that extra encouragement and help to really exceed in what they do.
“Kalma Baby now has a stronger, more informative and attractive-looking website and a more solid and meaningful social presence which has helped us immensely with spreading the word of Kalma Baby and growing further.”
Rebecca shared she is planning further expansion for Kalma Baby and will look to take on 12 franchises outside of the North East, starting with courses already available in Darlington and plans to grow into areas of Yorkshire, while discussions are also underway to take the business into London.
