Open Innovation Training
Open Innovation itself is a philosophy which requires skill and commitment to deliver effectively. By looking to source ideas from outside traditional company boundaries new products and processes can be implemented rapidly and effectively by leveraging the differences between large and small organisations.
All this must be done whilst fitting with the client organisation’s existing processes, without being afraid to adapt them where appropriate.
Run by RTC North, Connect2 Ideas is an open innovation service, based in the UK. It is designed to help organisations and individuals to understand and maximise the benefits of applying open innovation principles.
Connect2ideas has developed a range of working processes, metrics and management tools whilst handling the technology needs of its founder multinational partners (for example: P&G, Kodak, Smith & Nephew, BAE Systems, Cadbury). This level of direct experience in the “nuts and bolts” of making open innovation work, directly informs the service, and is neatly encapsulated by the following four stages:
- Search
- Identify
- Commit
- Create value
Each require slightly different skills in order to maximise the benefit for the whole process. Whether by attend an open course or via in-company training, C2i will provide teams with the practical tools and techniques which can help them make their corporate open innovation a success.
cost: workshops from £750 per team
