As managing director of Seaweed & Co., Dr Craig Rose is determined to make everyone aware of the benefits of seaweed, spreading the word that it is much more than a food trend, with 10,000 different variations and a potential aid to tackle obesity and diabetes.

RTC’s Designing Better Business– launched in 2016 – provides support for North East businesses looking to continue to innovate and design better world leading product. It is part funded by European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020. Craig said:
“Getting branding and product developed is a huge challenge, as you are always concerned about getting it just right! Being able to work with specialist and experienced agencies was a huge help, and we are so happy with the results. This all would not have been possible without the support from RTC North and access to ERDF funding.
“We are really excited for what is to come following our launch, and hope everyone will be seeing (and buying!) and products very soon..."
