The BIPC’s Social Media Expert in Residence, Briony McStea, will lead you through Twitter, demonstrating how to use it effectively to grow your business.

Twitter is a platform unlike any other. With the click of a button you can share your thoughts with a potential 262 million users. Tweets are unique because they spread so fast, allowing us to share information at a rate never seen before. Through Twitter, we’re able to build communities, share news and engage with some of the most powerful people on earth. Harnessing that power to propel your business to success can seem daunting, but it’s not impossible. Briony will show you all of the tools and techniques you need to build authentic connections, promote your products and find your tribe.

Briony has worked with a variety of clients to help them boost their digital presence from blank social media pages to an online community filled with devoted customers and in this workshop, you’ll learn how to do the same. She’ll help you create fun, engaging content that connects you with your ideal customer and builds their trust in you and your brand.

To attend this event you must be an SME (Small or Medium Sized Enterprise), trading in the north-east and looking to take an innovative approach to growing your business. The event is delivered by Business & IP Centre Newcastle, is part of the Pathways to Innovation project, and is fully funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
