KickStart is a business bootcamp for people who are thinking of starting a new business, are running a small business from home and/or have recently started and are wanting help to grow the business. *
You will be taken through an intensive business planning exercise with full support and guidance from professionals with enterprise knowledge and experience.
In addition to working through the practicalities of running a business, by the end of the programme you will :
refine your business vision and product/service offer
identified your customers, how to reach them
identified potential funding and additional support available following completion of the workshops
have an action plan to ensure your dream becomes a reality
Day One: 26th February 2019
Making the Switch, Discovering drivers and Barriers to Success
Individuals will explore the challenges and opportunities facing them when converting passion to profit. Individuals will consider the emotional, psychological, physical and financial aspects to running a business whilst assessing personal action planning.
Risk analysis for the business will also be completed.
Day Two: 27th February 2019
Practical Finance and Business Planning
Focusing on the practicalities of running a business, delegates will explore business administration and market research, as well as being introduced to financial matters, including raising capital, budgeting, reducing costs and financial control.
Day Three: 28th February 2019
Individuals will investigate all aspects of marketing, market orientation, and customer demand. Delegates will review targeted market research and will investigate approaches to traditional and social media marketing and market planning. Delegates will review the importance of building and maintaining business relationships and complete a draft business plan.
