Shop4Care Ltd. is a web-based solution, assisting clients seeking to procure care packages online.
It’s founder and Managing Director Philip Longmore has been a client of RTC for more than two years, tapping into several of our business support programmes, including the historic Designing Better Business programme, and the current Innovate2Succeed and Pathways 2 Innovation programmes.
Our advisers have supported Philip with establishing a target base, improving site functionality, and establishing and building relationships within the regions care sector.
Philip Longmore, MD of Shop4Care said:
“The initial challenge, RTC helped us resolve, was a research exercise which was undertaken by Carl Brown and Catherine Smith. The purpose of the exercise was to identify our target audience and compile a list of key personnel within the home care provider sector who we could contact and potentially target.
“The exercise was more than successful, allowing us to make our offer more prominent and visible on the market.”
Philip required support with establishing the Shop4care online platform which we were able to assist with. The website matches clients in receipt of a 'care package' with potential suppliers allowing the client to pick the best solution for them for the available choices.
Furthermore, our Pathways 2 Innovation team assisted with the further development of the platform.
“RTC, principally Wayne Bryant, has been especially helpful in enabling Shop4Care to complete the second phase of our MVP website to achieve site functionality.
“Wayne prepared a synopsis of our business requirements and issued it a number of his contacts. This was followed by a series of meetings, arranged and facilitated by Wayne, with six local digital developers in order to identify a digital partner to help us progress to the next stage of product development.
“Going forward, we will be looking to produce a strategic marketing/business plan and we are hoping to receive support from the Innovate2Succeed programme."
